Beyond Literacy School Supply Drive

Our Beyond Literacy event was a success! On December 3, 2022, Colonial Democrats collected school and office supplies for Beyond Literacy, an organization that provides opportunities for adult learners with a free, high-quality education with the goal of escaping poverty. Many of our Colonial volunteers braved the rain and wind to receive and organize donations brought to us from generous residents from around the area. Senator Vince Hughes, who is a big supporter of Be Lit, showed up to tour the Mobile Learning Lab. We appreciate everyone who helped to make it a success!
